CyberGEO recently showcased its latest AR digital twin and spatial solutions at the 13th New Gas, New Intelligence, New Business Formats Industry Expo. Held from 3 to 4 September in Zhengzhou, the event gathered industry professionals to explore digital and intelligent transformation in the gas sector.
Event Overview
The exhibition featured 35 leading enterprises and attracted over 1,100 professional attendees. At the event, we focused on the Vision AR spatial system, demonstrating how reality capture and augmented reality are applied in gas field operations. The company highlighted an integrated architecture built from a cloud platform, AR terminals, and the Vision AR app.
Five Solutions for Gas Operations
We presented our spatial tracking technology across five major business areas.
- Pipeline construction. 1:1 3D reality modelling to digitally preserve concealed trench environments and support field positioning.
- Data governance. Converting 2D GIS data into 3D models for on-site verification and correction through AR terminals.
- Commercial complexes. Scanning real space to close data gaps and visualise concealed pipework for more efficient safety inspection.
- Station operations. A digital twin platform paired with AR terminals to unify asset management and field inspection.
- AR indoor pipeline design. Drawing pipeline routes directly in the physical space, at true position and scale.
Driving Efficiency with Spatial Technology
A major highlight was the AR indoor pipeline design application introduced by CyberGEO Chairman Yu Qingzhu. The solution breaks the constraints of traditional 2D design by letting workers sketch pipeline plans directly in real space.
Clients confirm the design on site, after which the system rapidly generates engineering renderings and quotations, bringing design, communication, and quantity calculation into one step. Powered by our integrated satellite, inertial, and visual positioning technology, the Vision AR digital twin system holds high-precision tracking in both indoor and outdoor complex environments without depending on QR codes.
Moving forward, CyberGEO remains committed to deepening the integration of spatial intelligence with the gas industry. By bridging back-end data management with front-end field applications, the company aims to support the intelligent transformation of smart gas operations.
